Well I decided to install my new Viper 5900 alarm this weekend starting on Friday night. What I figured would take a day and a half at best to install has turned out to be an ongoing project. I’m currently driving around with just about every dashboard panel removed and wires all over the place as it’s back to work starting tomorrow. I guess I’ll have to find time here and there after work throughout the week. On a bright note, there isn’t much left and a great deal of what remains has already been routed somewhat throughout the dashboard and engine bay. This South Florida rain is completely slowing the progress of this install as I can’t really do much when it’s pouring out. Looking through the photos, you’ll notice that I got a little creative with a rain cover to help shield the rain which allowed me continue with the install. Hopefully I get this thing in soon so I can test everything out and ensure the car still starts (lol).
