Well, the bulk of our 4 year anniversary vacation is over, but this was nothing less than amazing! While we only really had today to experience everything there is to do here at the Westin Diplomat, a great deal was accomplished. Toni and I had a nice dinner accross the street at Diplomat Landing, at a place called Rivals Sports Bar & Grill. While the food was pretty good, the service was not so much. When we went back for lunch today, our service was even worse. This time I physically had to get up and flag down another server just to be greeted. We should have taken that as a sign and left. Other than this place, the entire rest of our stay has been great so far. We had breakfast this morning at a Cafe downstairs serving up a fantastic spread in the form of a buffet. We spent the majority of the rest of the day in the ocean and then the pool, while finding some time to spend in the hot tub. Now it’s time for some relaxation until Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. (I got the approval from Toni to watch it Checkout is tomorrow, but I’m sure we’ll have a bit more fun in the afternoon. Have a look at some of the pics from our trip below.
